Why 30 days is realistic

The compression to 30 days rests on three cumulative conditions: fast sourcing (tens of thousands of African senior developers are identifiable via specialised platforms and recruiter databases), efficient pre-qualification (the best African recruiters technically and culturally pre-qualify candidates before client presentation), and immediate EOR-based contracting (effective in 5 to 10 working days).

2026 salary benchmark by country

Senior developers (6 to 10 years of experience) cost in 2026 between €32k and €50k in Morocco, between €28k and €45k in Tunisia, between €28k and €42k in Côte d’Ivoire, between €26k and €38k in Senegal, between €35k and €55k in Nigeria, between €32k and €50k in Kenya, between €28k and €45k in Egypt, and between €45k and €70k in South Africa. Add 15 to 25% of employer contributions to get total employer cost. For comparison, an equivalent French senior costs €75k to €110k including charges.

Pitfalls to avoid

Do not underpay relative to the local benchmark, do not confuse local cost with lower quality, do not neglect intercultural management, do not default to freelance status (reclassification risk), and do not try to do it all alone without a specialised recruiter.
